I'm not crazy, but I feel crasey!

I was filing a bunch of the kids' work the other day and came across this little scrawl at the top of one of their worksheets.  It perfectly captured how I'm feeling these days.

I gave notice at my job about two weeks ago, which feels awesome.  And big.  And a little nerve wracking.  And the right thing to do.  I'm ready to create a fulfilling life that means spending more time on my business and more time with my family and making a difference in my community.  Sounds very serious and heavy, but it actually feels like light shooting out in a million different directions.

Which, yes, sometimes also feels a little crasey.

I will miss your wonderful kid comments, but I am sure that you will entertain us with other musings. I can't wait to see where life will lead you. Best of luck!

Congrats on making the BIG decision and best of luck at the stationery show! And thanks for sharing the end-products (photos) of your house/contents obsession. :)

Oh, this is great!

Here is the quote that I have been staring at for a year, but not doing anything about:

What would you do if you knew you would not fail?

And you know, Molly, there is just no chance of failure.

Though I will miss the beautiful wisdom from your class!

All this talk about kids, wisdom, crazy made me think of this song:

Boom, boom, ain't great to be crazy?

Giddy and foolish the whole day through

Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy?

Congratulations. So big and wonderful. If it isn't scary then you're not challenging yourself enough. I can't wait to see and read what comes. xoxo
