So the quote says something to the effect that you can't hold two opposite thoughts in your mind and be successful at the more positive/beneficial/rewarding/healthy thought. For example, you want love but you don't think you're worthy of love. Or, you want to be in better shape but you think you lack coordination to really exercise ... that'll get you nowhere, fast.
I think about this, especially now, as I sit here eating food I've made over the last week, left-over, cold pizza and this (fabulous, if i do say so myself) spicy carrot soup, while reading through recipes for meal ideas and thinking about how today was going to be my first day of real exercise.
Now, I do move: I walk. A lot. As in, it's my preferred mode of transportation.
But, I also loooooooove to eat. A lot. As in, it's my preferred mode of activity.
And I'm afraid those may fall into a very close, possibly relative category to the 'two opposing thoughts' concept, which, as we now all know, cannot be held at the same time and be successful and the more beneficial one.
I'm still working on a loophole here...
